If you are considering dropping your membership, please consider this; Rather than be suspended for nonpayment of dues, you may request a withdrawal card.  The withdrawal card is valid for one year after the date it was issued and costs $1.00.  That means you may re-enter membership by depositing the withdrawal card with the Financial Secretary along with the current year’s dues.  Withdrawal cards are only issued to those who are current in dues.

After the one year the card will serve to validate that you had received all the degrees.  If you decide to rejoin after a one-year lapse, you will then have to fill out an application along with the current year’s dues plus $20.00 and one dollar for every year over 50 years of age.  You will then have to meet with an investing committee and be voted upon by the lodge membership.

Allowances are made for those in nursing homes, hospitals, advanced age and financial problems.  Financial problems are referred to our Special Relief Committee for review.

For all this lodge offers its members, it’s sometimes hard to see why a person would drop out, for whatever reason.  Be a good guy and stay with us.
