Visit to Tuscon Lodge 360
St. Louis, Missouri
I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed, a democracy in a republic, a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.
I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.
It has become a tradition that in February of each year, Tuscan Masonic Lodge No. 360
invites St. Louis Chapter 22, National Sojourners to dinner and provide a program about patriotism to the members of both groups.
On February 18, 2020 St. Louis Chapter 22 again met with the members of Tuscan Lodge No. 360. After an excelent dinner, Brother Paul DeMerath a member of Albert Pike Camp, The Heroes of 76 presented a program about George Washington which was well received by all. Chapter president Richard Nelms then presented a gift on behalf of the members of St. Louis Chapter 22 to the Worshful Master of Tuscon Lodge.
